A Summer of Learning Inside Our Kitchen & Beyond

This summer, our team has been buzzing with fresh energy as we welcomed a group of bright, motivated interns into Mise en Place & Co. From the kitchen to the Events Department, these young Caymanians have stepped in with curiosity, ambition, and a genuine drive to grow.

In our culinary program, we had two groups of high‑school students who spent two weeks learning side‑by‑side with our chefs — gaining real‑world experience and discovering the craft, discipline, and creativity that make hospitality so special. Watching them build confidence, ask questions, and try new techniques has been a highlight for our entire team. At the end of the program they created a dish to present to our executive Chef Willie,

We also had the pleasure of welcoming Iain into our Events Department, where he supported the build‑out of our ordering system website. His internship tied directly into his computer science studies, giving him meaningful, hands‑on experience in a field he’s passionate about. Iain was great support to our team working on this project and it was a joy to have in our head office for several weeks over the summer. Seeing a young Caymanian apply his skills, learn new ones, and contribute to a project that will serve our clients for years to come has been truly inspiring.

At Mise en Place & Co., opening doors for Cayman’s next generation is one of the most meaningful parts of our work. Whether your interests are hospitality, logistics, food service, accounts, or career pathways beyond, we’re committed to creating opportunities that spark growth and build confidence.
